As the Chief Technology Officer, you will define and deliver SASCU’s digital, data, and innovation strategies to drive business growth, operational excellence, and exceptional member experiences.

This role integrates technology, data, and creative thinking to enable SASCU to stay ahead of industry trends, navigate regulatory complexity, and translate strategic goals into measurable results. As a strategic partner across the organization, the CTO ensures SASCU leverages technology and innovation to fulfill its purpose and strengthen its position as a trusted community financial institution.

• Bachelor’s degree or designation in business, IT, or a related field (MBA preferred) or equivalent senior leadership experience.
• 10–15 years of progressive experience in technology, digital transformation, or innovation within complex organizations.
• Demonstrated ability to translate business strategy into technology-enabled outcomes.
• Deep understanding of IT governance, data strategy, risk management, and compliance in regulated industries.
• Proven success in leading change, inspiring teams, and fostering a culture of innovation.
• Awareness of market trends, digital technologies, and their potential to drive business advantage.

• A competitive base salary ($169,600 – $212,000 per year) plus performance-based incentive pay, and a pension plan with SASCU matching all funds.

As a Contact Centre Specialist, you will assist our members over a variety of communication channels, uncovering and understanding their needs and life events, and making the appropriate connections within the SASCU team.

• Take personal responsibility for delivery of the SASCU Member Experience and contribute to a warm and welcoming environment over telephone, electronic, and digital channels. 
• Deepen member relationships through identification of opportunities and personalized connections through contact channels.
• Advise members on a range of available products and services.
• Acknowledge member concerns and take appropriate action to resolve them. 
• Respond to and process non-cash member transactions. 
• Support networking activities to build our membership base and have a positive impact on the community.
• Support organizational goals by meeting sales and referral targets.

• 1 year of sales experience in a service-oriented environment.
• Demonstrated sales skills.
• Excellent communication skills including the ability to listen and convey information in a clear and welcoming manner.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical ability.
• High comfort level with technology and proficiency with digital systems.
• Attitude of continuous learning and development, including commitment to complete relevant training (including university level courses) within 1 year of attaining the position.

• Provide counsel to clients, prepare quotes, and sell AutoPlan and general insurance.
• Follow up on referrals and facilitates referrals to relevant staff.
• Prepare binders and complete applications, change requests, report claims, and policy paperwork.
• Maintain knowledge of insurance products and services to effectively promote them to clients.
• Maintain inventory and supplies, ensuring the tidiness of the office and filing systems.
• Complete ICBC batching and inventory when necessary.

• Level 1 Insurance License, or successful completion of licensing within 6 months.
• 1 year of sales experience in a service-oriented environment.
• Strong service orientation with excellent communication skills.
• Comfort with technology, including word processing, databases, and using a variety of other programs.
