How do I know if I meet the job posting criteria?
Both education and work experience requirements for all positions are stated within the postings. Please take a moment to analyze the specific requirements of each job against your own qualifications to determine whether you meet these requirements before submitting your resume.

How do I apply for employment with SASCU?
If you find a job posting of interest to you and you meet the qualifications, please forward your cover letter and resumé via email (Resumés submitted via email are ONLY accepted in Microsoft Word), fax, or mail to the address below by the posted deadline submission date.

Will I receive confirmation of receipt after submitting my resume?
We will consider all applications as soon as they are submitted. Confirmations will not be returned unless requested by the applicant.

What is the general recruitment process for positions?

  1. All resumés received for posted positions are reviewed against the minimum qualifications.
  2. Short-listed candidates are contacted by the Human Resources Department.
  3. Telephone and in-person interviews are scheduled.
  4. Background checks, including education, criminal, credit, and references are conducted on candidates being considered for employment.
  5. The successful candidate(s) are then contacted.

Can I apply for more than one position at a time?
You are encouraged to apply for any and all positions for which you are qualified.

What happens to my resume once I have applied?
If you are applying for a specific position, your resumé will be directed automatically to the SASCU Human Resource recruiter responsible for filling that position. After evaluating your skills and background, Human Resources may contact you for further information or an interview. Your resumé will be maintained in our database and will be available only to our recruiting team.

I don't see a posted opportunity that interests me. Can I submit my resume for future opportunities?
Yes. General applications are submitted to the general talent pool where they are retained for six months and are reviewed by the Human Resources department for future opportunities.
