How can I shine in my interview?
Never underestimate the power of enthusiasm. Positive energy and enthusiasm are contagious. SASCU loves energetic employees because they spread their enthusiasm to others and are motivated to excel. Don’t be afraid to show passion for what you do.
ALWAYS ask questions. This is so important. If you don’t ask questions, it gives the impression that you’re not interested and unprepared. That said, asking if there is free coffee is not the way to make a great first impression!
Research! Not knowing anything about SASCU can also leave a poor impression. Look around this website where you’ll find lots of great information about us. Make sure you understand what we do, who we are, and how you’ll fit in.
Dress to impress. Nothing gives a better first impression than tidy, well fitting business clothes. Don’t go too casual. You want us to see you at your professional best and that you are taking the opportunity seriously.
Firm up. Your handshake says a lot about you. A firm handshake exudes confidence and gives a great first impression. Don’t underestimate it.
Can
I apply for more than one position at a time?
You are encouraged to apply for any and all positions for which
you are qualified.
What
happens to my résumé once I have applied?
If you are applying for a specific position, your résumé
will be directed automatically to the SASCU Human Resource recruiter
responsible for filling that position. After evaluating your skills
and background, Human Resources may contact you for further information
or an interview. Your résumé will be maintained in our database
and will be available only to our recruiting team.
I
don't see a posted opportunity that interests me. Can I submit my résumé
for future opportunities?
Yes.
General applications are submitted to the general talent pool where
they are kept for six months and are reviewed by the Human Resources
department for future opportunities.
