Okanagan College Foundation – Salmon Arm Trades Training

SASCU donates $50,000 to Okanagan College Foundation to support the acquisition and expansion of the Salmon Arm Trades Training facility. This leading edge facility will provide adequate training space to accommodate trades programs such plumbing, carpentry, welding and electrical which will meet the increased demand for trades training in the region. Shuswap Hut & Trail Alliance – 2008 Trail Development Program

A $25,000 dollar donation was made to the Shuswap Hut & Trail Alliance to further its trail development including the Balmoral Lookout Trail. The credit union is excited to participate in a long term project which will see all three communities which it serves be connected by a trail system to benefit all.
