Transferring funds between accounts just got easier. You can now transfer funds online between your US Dollar and your Canadian Dollar accounts.
If you already bank online with MemberDirect®, your US Dollar account will now appear as one of your accounts and you can transfer to and from it – just like you do with other accounts. If online banking is new to you, click here for details or visit us at any branch and we’ll get you started. It’s easy and free.
This new transfer feature is a bonus if you are saving for a trip to the United States or want to take advantage of the Canadian/US exchange rate. Are you in need of a US Dollar account? Visit us in-branch and we can set you up.
We’ve also added a new Foreign Exchange Calculator, also on MemberDirect. Here you can confirm the day’s exchange rate before you make your transfer or before you decide to buy or sell US Dollars, British Pounds or Euros. Just click on RATES when you are in the MemberDirect online banking site.
Making changes to serve you better. Any questions, drop us a note or visit us at any one of our three branches.
Fall 2010, SASCU members received new chip-enabled debit cards. These new Member Cards come with a micro-computer chip embedded in the plastic. The reason, added security.
If you have received yours and haven't used it yet, please start now. More and more retailers are expecting chip-enabled debit cards and the added security is a benefit.
Your SASCU Member Card will work the same as your old magnetic stripe card, but offers more protection. Chip cards are virtually impossible to copy.
You can use the PIN (Personal Identification Number) mailed to you or re-PIN your Member Card at any branch ATM or in-branch with one of our Member Service Representatives.
