Since 1997, the Salmon Arm Savings and Credit Union has returned over 24 MILLION in rebates and bonus interest to members based on the amount of business you do with the credit union. For 2007, the rebates and bonus interest rates are:
- 10% Rebate on standard month end service charges.
- 12% Bonus Interest on all deposit interest paid.
- 12% Interest Rebate on all loan, line of credit and mortgage interest paid.
In 2007 a member who held a $200,000 mortgage at 6%, $50,000 in RRSPs or investments and had an active chequing account received approximately $1,692.
