What is Share the Success?
Simply put, it is SASCU's way of sharing in the profits with our members. Our rebate program is based upon the credit union's financial performance. Your Board of Directors annually decides whether it will be paid or not. For the past 12 years, the Salmon Arm Savings and Credit Union has given 24 million dollars back to its members.
How much do I get?
That depends on how much of your business you do with us. It is based on percentages from interest earned, interest paid and service charges incurred in the previous year. The more banking business you do with us, the bigger your rebate.
For example, if 10% of all loan and mortgage interest paid is rebated and you have paid $5,000 in mortgage interest, you would receive $500.
When and how is the rebate paid?
The rebate is paid once a year in April. If you are eligible for a rebate, you will receive a cheque in the mail. Watch for the yearly Share the Success Campaign and join in on the celebration.
