Salmon Arm Savings and Credit Union believes in financially supporting the communities in which we live and do business. Since the beginning of 2009, more than a dozen community groups serving Salmon Arm, Sicamous and Sorrento have been assisted with in-kind or financial donations through the Community Sponsorship Program. Okanagan College Foundation received support for their Trades Training project, the Shuswap District Arts Council received a performance sponsorship for the annual Wednesday On the Wharf – WOW! summer concert series, and the South Shuswap Canada Day Committee and the Shuswap Children’s Association received funding for 2009 Canada Day celebrations.

SASCU supports a variety of arts and cultural initiatives, amateur sporting events, opportunities for youth and their families, environmental and educational projects, and scholarships throughout its marketplace.
