More than profits
We’re always looking for ways to build more than profits. Since 2008, we’ve contributed more than $2 million to support the community. This year, we're committing 3.5% of our net operating income towards community non-profit organizations and initiatives.
Community resources
Orchard Room
As part of our commitment to making our communities a better place to live and work, we provide a meeting room at our Salmon Arm Uptown Branch, that we call the Orchard Room. The room is available for use free of charge by local non-profit, registered charities, sports teams or service groups in the Shuswap.
Community programs
Grants & Scholarships
Supporting Shuswap’s youth and environment is one of the most rewarding and important parts of our community impact. We offer multiple scholarships and bursaries to schools throughout the Shuswap. We created the SASCU Community Endowment Fund to support initiatives that benefit the environment. We also established the Community Support Program that provides funds to initiatives that enhance our communities.
