Community is everything to us.

Proud to be the Shuswap's financial institution, we strive to make our communities better each and every day. That's why we offer support to local non-profits through SASCU's Community Support Program.

Our mission

We want to make a difference that's real, profound, measurable and visible. Our passion is both championing our own causes and working with others to supporting existing initiatives and creating new opportunities to grow our community.

Community impact

More than profits

We’re always looking for ways to build more than profits. Since 2008, we’ve contributed more than $2 million to support the community. This year, we're committing 3.5% of our net operating income towards community non-profit organizations and initiatives.

Orchard Room

As part of our commitment to making our communities a better place to live and work, we provide a meeting room at our Salmon Arm Uptown Branch, that we call the Orchard Room. The room is available for use free of charge by local non-profit, registered charities, sports teams or service groups in the Shuswap.

Grants & Scholarships

Supporting Shuswap’s youth and environment is one of the most rewarding and important parts of our community impact. We offer multiple scholarships and bursaries to schools throughout the Shuswap. We created the SASCU Community Endowment Fund to support initiatives that benefit the environment. We also established the Community Support Program that provides funds to initiatives that enhance our communities.
