Contest Theme

For this theme, we invite you to help us Raise the Shuswap by capturing the beauty, spirit, and diversity of the place we are proud to call home. Like SASCU, we see the Shuswap as more than a single location. It is a connected region, shaped by its people, landscapes, and shared experiences.

We encourage submissions that highlight vibrant scenery, changing seasons, wildlife, local landmarks, and the everyday moments that reflect life in our communities. Photos that showcase connection, community pride, and the unique character of the region are especially encouraged.

The Shuswap, as we see it, includes (but is not limited to):

  • Salmon Arm
  • Sicamous
  • Enderby
  • Armstrong
  • Falkland
  • Sorrento
  • Blind Bay
  • Tappen
  • Sunnybrae
  • Canoe
  • North Shuswap (including Celista, Magna Bay, Scotch Creek, Lee Creek, Anglemont)
  • South Shuswap (including White Lake, Balmoral, Eagle Bay)

This contest is intended to reflect the full reach of our region, and we welcome submissions from across the broader Shuswap area.
